A little wisdom lives with me
A little wisdom lives with me, The way the wind lives in a wood; Whispers through the shadowed silence, Though it is not understood. A little knowledge have I known, The way the moon will rise at night, Sublime despite the sleeping world, Bringing a different kind of light. A little learning lies within, The way the waves run in from the sea, Heedless the color of the sands, Or who is waiting watchfully. |
